"We Mean Business"

Operating under the umbrella of the Dubai Chamber, the Tunisian Business Council Dubai & Northern Emirates (TBC) is the official organization representing the Tunisian business community in the emirates of Dubai, Sharjah, Ajman, Umm Al Quwain, Ras Al Khaimah and Fujairah.
Thanks to our close relationship with our sister organization TBC Abu Dhabi, our action covers the entire United Arab Emirates

•The TBC regularly meets relevant UAE authorities with the aim to (i) promote the brand “Tunisia”, (ii) increase the bilateral investments between the UAE and Tunisia, and (iii) represent the UAE based Tunisian business community and assist in its development. Our key points of contacts are the UAE Ministry of Economy, the Chambers of Commerce and Industry of Dubai, Sharjah, Ajman, Umm Al Quwain, Ras Al Khaimah and Fujairah.

•We also cooperate with the various UAE based free zones such as JAFZA, DAFZA, DMCC, DSO, SAIF, AFZ, RAKEZ, RAKFTZ, UAQFTZ, IFZA, to facilitate the implementation of Tunisian businesses in Dubai and Northern Emirates.

•With respect to UAE businesses and investors, we regularly hold meetings and events with various stakeholders who might have or already have an interest in Tunisia (UAE investors and conglomerates, UAE based regional headquarters of multinational firms with an interest in Tunisia, etc.)

Networking

We work to support our members by creating platforms to meet and extend their network. We organize business meetings (notably our well known Leadership Series) workshops and seminars on current and relevant topics.

Access

On top of one to one access to some of the top business figures in the UAE and Tunisia, our members have access to exclusive seminars and trainings organized by the Dubai Chamber and other official entities. They also have the opportunity to apply to participate to overseas roadshows under the umbrella of the UAE Ministry of Economy.

Social Community

While TBC is primarily business focused, we don’t forget that our members enjoy the occasional casual gatherings or celebrations of traditional / cultural events such as Ramadan Suhoor, Tunisian Independence Day or our Annual Gala Dinner.

•Through our exclusive connections and the networking events we organize with business councils of other countries, TBC empowers its members to create opportunities and forge new partnerships.

•Inter business councils gatherings offer a unique platform for our members to connect with likeminded professionals and extend their professional horizons.

•To better fulfill our mission, we cooperate directly with the higher authorities of the country and have a direct access to the decision makers: Presidency of the Government, Ministry of Development, Investment and International Cooperation, Ministry of Finance (more specifically the Customs Administration), Ministry of Foreign Affairs (Economic Diplomacy) and Tunisian Central Bank .

•With respect to the Tunisian private sector, our natural counterpart is the Tunisian Confederation of Industry, Trade and Handicrafts – UTICA which represents nearly 150,000 private companies in Tunisia from all sectors, with the exceptions of tourism, banking, and financial sectors
